We spent months researching and testing grain mills, and the Wolfgang is as close to perfect as possible.  The unit is a well built, powerful, attractive appliance.  Each Wolfgang  mill is hand made in Germany out of solid wood, and makes a great addition to any countertop.  It takes up very little space, yet mills grain at a speedy pace.  The Wolfgang uses a stone/ceramic grinding surface to create true "stone ground" flour.  Of all the units we tested, the Wolfgang was able to mill the finest flour.  In fact, when comparing commercially ground Kamut and White Wheat flour, the Wolfgang flour was even more fine.  Best of all, the mill is self cleaning, so there is virtually no cleanup!

You'll find it a joy to experiment with different grains when you have the Wolfgang on your counter.  Simply toss in the grains of choice, place a measuring cup or bowl beneath the spout, and turn it on.  Once your bowl fills with flour you're done!  Unlike others, you don't need to clean the unit or take anything apart.  It's just that easy!
